Accessing GCPS Student Tools

1. Visit the Gwinnett County Public Schools website at: https://www.gcpsk12.org/ 
2. On the main navigation bar, click on STUDENTS

    

3. Students will enter their USER ID and PASSWORD.  
   The USER ID and PASSWORD used to log in to the computers while at school is the same to login to the Student Portal. Please contact your child’s teacher if you need your student’s USER ID and PASSWORD.

   USER ID: student ID number
   PASSWORD: two images selected by the student

   Then select Continue. 
   * Note: The student's chosen pictures might appear in various positions whenever they log in because the pictures are shuffled each time.

If the student chooses the wrong pictures, they will see a message at the top saying "Incorrect selection…" and will need to try again. It will automatically clear out the student’s previous choices and the student can select their pictures again. After 5 incorrect attempts, the student will be locked out of their account for 15 minutes.

Most eTextbooks have the ability to read the text back to your child (textbooks will vary by grade)

Google Classrom		Students access their teacher’s Google Classroom for digital content including Digital Learning Day assignments.
Assessment		Students complete and review class assessments.
Library Catalog		Student can access the Brookwood Elementary Media Center collection to choose their next book.
Online Research Library		Student can access multiple online research sites and additional eBooks.

Teachers may use Google Classroom to post assignments and other important class information. 

1. Click on the Google Classroom button in the Student Portal main page.

    

2. Students will then select the teacher’s class card to access the Google Classroom for that specific teacher.
