If your student needs to leave early, please pick him/her up by 2:45 p.m. After 2:45 p.m. the student should either ride the bus or join the car riders for carpool pick up.

Yes, you need to send a note* signed by the parent or a doctor's note to the school stating the reason for his/her absence (an e-mail is not considered a signed note).

*This note must be received within 5 school days of the student's return.

It is not necessary to call the school if your child will be absent.  You may instead state the reason for your child’s absence via an email or note to your child’s teacher.

To be counted present for the whole day, students must attend for at least the equivalent of half the school day. This does not have to be continuous time.
